Focus and Scope
The Journal of Theology and Education Quality (JMTP) serves as a scholarly platform that facilitates the publication of research findings, conceptual studies, and innovative practices in the fields of theology and Christian education. The journal emphasizes quality improvement that not only meets but also exceeds standards (beyond standards) in all aspects of the Christian Higher Education Tri Dharma: education, research, and community service.
- Quality of Education
JMTP accepts articles that discuss the development and enhancement of quality in theological and Christian religious education learning processes, aiming to achieve and surpass academic and spiritual quality standards. The scope includes:
- learning innovations and creative teaching strategies,
- quality-based curriculum development,
- implementation of digital educational technologies, and
- evaluation and assessment focused on learning outcomes and Christian character formation.
- Quality of Research
This section highlights efforts to enhance the quality of research in theology and Christian education that strive to achieve and exceed methodological and ethical scientific standards. The focus includes:
- development of research methodologies in theology and Christian education,
- enhancement of scholarly publications by lecturers and researchers,
- empirical and conceptual studies that enrich academic theory and practice, and
- scientific reflections on the integration of faith and knowledge within research contexts.
- Quality of Community Service (PkM)
JMTP also accommodates scholarly works that examine or describe efforts to improve the quality of community service based on Christian faith principles, oriented toward achieving and surpassing public service standards rooted in love and transformation. Topics include:
- implementation of research findings in ministry and mission,
- evaluation of the social and spiritual impacts of community service activities, and
- innovations in community-based and transformative ministry practices.
