The Journal of Theology and Education Quality (JMTP) is published by STT Injili Jakarta (STTIJA) as a scientific journal that emphasizes the enhancement of the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service (PkM)—particularly in the fields of theology, Christian religious education, spiritual leadership, and Christian education management.
JMTP aims to serve as an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, and practitioners to share scientific works that support the development of both academic and spiritual quality in theological higher education, with a spirit of achieving and exceeding the standards of scientific excellence and Christian service.
This journal accepts manuscripts in the form of:
- Research articles in theology and Christian religious education,
- Conceptual and literature studies related to the quality development of the Tri Dharma, and
- Reports on community service (PkM) implementations that contribute to strengthening education and church ministry.
Scope
The Journal of Theology and Education Quality (JMTP) serves as a scientific platform that facilitates the publication of research results, conceptual studies, and innovative practices in the fields of theology and Christian education, with an emphasis on quality improvement that not only meets but also exceeds standards (beyond standards) in all aspects of the Christian Higher Education Tri Dharma: education, research, and community service.
- Quality of Education
JMTP accepts articles discussing the development and enhancement of quality in theological and Christian education learning processes to achieve and exceed academic and spiritual quality standards. The scope includes:
- learning innovations and creative teaching strategies,
- quality-based curriculum development,
- implementation of digital educational technologies, and
- evaluation and assessment focused on learning outcomes and Christian character formation.
- Quality of Research
This section highlights the improvement of research quality in theology and Christian religious education that strives to achieve and exceed methodological and ethical scientific standards. The focus includes:
- development of research methodologies in theology and Christian education,
- enhancement of scholarly publication output among lecturers and researchers,
- empirical and conceptual studies that enrich academic theory and practice, and
- scientific reflections on the integration of faith and knowledge within research contexts.
- Quality of Community Service (PkM)
JMTP also accommodates scholarly works that examine or describe efforts to improve the quality of community service based on Christian faith principles, with an orientation toward achieving and surpassing standards of public service rooted in love and transformation. Topics include:
- implementation of research results in ministry and mission,
- evaluation of the social and spiritual impacts of community service activities, and
- innovations in community-based and transformative ministry practices.
Publication Policy and Frequency
JMTP is published twice a year (biannually) and applies an Open Access policy, allowing all articles to be freely accessed by the global academic community. The journal is committed to upholding high standards of scientific publication quality and academic ethics that meet and exceed both national and international standards, as part of its responsibility to advance the fields of theology and Christian education.
